About the Role

As a Behaviour Support - Training and Development Specialist, you will have responsibility for the development and delivery of training programs that strengthen capability across our Behaviour Support teams.

You will:

  • Develop and deliver training for practitioners, team leaders, and induction of new starters
  • Design resources and curriculum to support high-quality clinical practice
  • Facilitate learning opportunities
  • Collaborate with Practice Leads and the Behaviour Support Quality and Compliance Lead to identify training needs
  • Maintain a partial caseload including peer reviewing or plans as required with proportionate billing targets

About You

You are a passionate and experienced clinician who enjoys developing others and improving practice at scale.

You bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in behaviour support and working with people with complex needs
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, or leading Behaviour Support Practitioners
  • Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks and contemporary practice
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging training both in person and online
  • Excellent time management and IT skills, including experience with platforms such as Microsoft Teams
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (is preferable but not essential)
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
